Splitting the difference
These terms cover your use of the SplitX app and this website. SplitX is currently in active development — some details may change before public release on the App Store and Google Play.
SplitX is a group expense-tracking app. It lets you create groups, log shared expenses, split them four ways (equally among everyone, equally among selected people, entirely by one person, or by custom percentage), computes a debt-simplified balance of who owes what, and lets you mark payments settled. SplitX does not process payments itself — settling up records that a payment happened, it doesn’t move money.
You need an account to use SplitX. When you invite someone to a group by email, they’re automatically added to that group once they create an account with that email address. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the expenses and invites you enter.
SplitX does not currently have a pricing or subscription model. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise about future pricing.
SplitX currently operates in Indian Rupees (₹) only. Multi-currency support is not available at this time.
Don’t use SplitX to misrepresent shared expenses, impersonate another group member, or attempt to interfere with the service’s normal operation.
We may update these terms as the product evolves toward launch. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect.
